Scope of work
A 78 MW utility-scale PV plant in Middlesex, NC — REIG owned the data path from the inverters through the field met stations to the NorCal monitoring portal.
What we delivered
- Optical fiber installation, termination, and OTDR-verified acceptance testing on every strand.
- Construction management and install of NorCal DAS/SCADA hardware, weather stations, and communication cabling across the array.
- End-to-end commissioning with NorCal — fiber comms, inverter comms, MET station inputs, and every polled point delivering accurate values into the NorCal GUI servers.
Outcome
The site went live with a clean as-built fibre map and a fully-mapped tag list — the field met station now feeds irradiance and weather inputs for ongoing performance analysis.
