60 MW ACLarge-scale utility-connected PV
Pitts Dudik Solar
60 MW ERCOT-connected PV in Hillsboro, TX. Substation control coordination, RenergyWare network enclosures, and dual-ISP cellular backhaul.

Scope of work
A 60 MW utility-scale PV plant in Hillsboro, TX — built by Elewan Energy and Calvada Engineering. ERCOT interconnect with substation control coordination through Ulteig, and full REIG ownership of the field network.
What we delivered
- RenergyWare array-network communication enclosures and weather stations distributed across the site for remote comms and control.
- Optical fiber terminations and OTDR acceptance testing on every span.
- Dual-ISP internet links over cellular modem/router — two carriers running in parallel for backhaul resilience.
- Coordination with Ulteig on the substation control rack, the local utility, and ERCOT during the commissioning phase.
- Post-commissioning: small surveillance system for site access control and person verification.
Outcome
The site brought up clean over ERCOT interconnect, with a temporary REIG comms setup carrying SCADA/DAS traffic during commissioning, and a permanent met station in place for performance reporting.
