REIG field crew commissioning a NEMA 4 control enclosure on a utility-scale solar site

Built by SCADA integration specialists, not outsourced subcontractors.

We integrate communications, MET stations, and control hardware to deliver accurate performance monitoring and reliable data acquisition.

Why we exist

Built for utility-scale integration. The partner that connects it all.

Utility-scale SCADA isn't just another electrical scope. It sits at the intersection of communications, controls, networking, weather monitoring, and utility requirements, and every one of those systems has to work together.

REIG was built to bridge those disciplines. From design and UL-listed panel manufacturing to fiber optics, device integration, commissioning, and documentation, we deliver complete telemetry systems backed by one experienced team from start to finish.

The REIG team
Company timeline

From Charlotte garage to a Southeast portfolio.

Five milestones that built the team you call when the SCADA goes dark.

  1. 2016

    REIG founded in Charlotte, NC

Keith Davis launches Renewable Energy Integration Group to fix fragmented commissioning on utility-scale solar.

  2. 2018

    First major EPC partnership

Beginning of a long-running EPC partnership — fiber, DAS, and SCADA on a portfolio of utility-scale plants across the Southeastern US.

  3. 2020

    RenergyWare hardware launched

In-house UL 508A panel fabrication begins. Standard fleet hardware lets us bench-test before shipping and stock spares for fast field swap.

  4. 2023

    First Texas / ERCOT interconnect

Pitts Dudik 60 MW comes online — REIG's first ERCOT-connected plant, with substation control coordination through Ulteig.

  5. 2025

    1.5 GW commissioned milestone

Across Georgia, North Carolina, and Texas — utility-scale and commercial — every site signed off on a REIG-run commissioning and utility witness test.

Leadership

The single point of accountability behind every REIG project.

Inside the team

Four disciplines, one delivery team.

Every senior on the team owns the work end-to-end — from interconnect kick-off to the utility-witness sign-off.

SCADA Architecture

Network topology, protocol mapping, point lists, and PPC integration — engineered against utility interconnect requirements before procurement.

Fiber Splicing & OTDR

Certified fusion-splice crews on call across the Southeast and Texas. Every strand bidirectionally OTDR-tested at 1310 + 1550 nm for utility hand-over.

DAS & MET Integration

Pyranometers, weather stations, BoM sensors, and all other MET sensors, recently calibrated, tested, and mapped to the asset owner's monitoring portal.

RenergyWare Hardware

In-house UL 508A panel fabrication shop. All communications and power hardware bench-tested prior to shipping. Spare equipment stocked for quick field swaps.

What we stand for

Three principles. Every project. Every site visit.

If you have ever lost a Sunday afternoon to a SCADA system that should have worked, you understand where these came from. We work the way we wished our integrator had.

Field-driven

We don't design on paper. Our team splices fiber, mounts weather stations, and walks acceptance checklists in the dirt.

No bureaucracy

Flat structure. The expert who designed your SCADA owns it through commissioning and the utility witness sign-off.

Veterans only

Every senior on the team has commissioned utility-scale solar. No level-1 outsourced support. No hand-offs to people who haven't seen the field.

ESG & impact

We commission clean energy. We also operate cleanly.

Environmental, social, and governance commitments that survive an asset owner's due diligence.

Environmental impact

Telemetry on 1.5+ GW of clean solar and storage means megawatts that would otherwise be lost are visible, billable, and protected.

Social responsibility

Workforce development across the Southeast. OSHA-10 and OSHA-30 trained field crews. Registered DOL apprenticeship program.

Governance

ISO 9001 quality management. NERC CIP cybersecurity practices on every SCADA architecture. Transparent reporting to asset owners.
