Scope of work
REIG delivered the optical-fiber backbone, the data acquisition and SCADA hardware install, and final commissioning for an 80 MW utility-scale PV plant in Warrenton, GA — built by the EPC, monitored on a NorCal platform.
What we delivered
- Optical fiber installation, termination, and bi-directional OTDR acceptance testing on every strand.
- Construction management and physical install of the NorCal-supplied DAS/SCADA hardware, weather stations, and communication cabling across the site.
- Final commissioning sweep with NorCal — verifying fiber communications, inverter comms, MET station data, and every polled point delivering accurate values into the NorCal GUI servers.
Outcome
A fully-commissioned 80 MW plant where every telemetry point — from string-level inverters to the central met station — landed cleanly on the NorCal portal at hand-over.
